Heritage Chimney Lining

Grade 2* listed building. With origins dating back to the 16th century, it was important that all works wee sympathetic to the building. The feather davies were collapsed in the chimney, and there were multiple breaches at the base of the flue into the basement flue.

The basement flue was lined with Thermocrete, and the dining room flue serving a large open fireplace with ornate chimney piece was lined with Furanflex25 allowing the full cross sectional area of flue to be used, thus avoiding the need for slips.

Works wee carried out over 2 days, with minimum mess. HETAS certification was issued on completion of works.
